Take 20 Activity Worksheets

We have made it our mission to continually send free activity worksheets to our email buddies.  Incorporating behaviours that science has shown to help with raising joyful, resilient children (while staying cool, calm and connected).

We have created 5 areas of activity focus to  'take 20' together as often as possible. Supporting the development of important habits not just for

now but for years to come.

These are calm, imagination, curiosity, communication & escapism.

The challenge

When reading up on positive parenting techniques, we were alarmed by the constant reports that more and more children are growing up with mental health issues, less ability to control their moods or show empathy.

The response from experts shared a common theme....

‘By far the best thing we can do is spend time with our little ones individually every day’. Giving them positive attention and emotional

connection they are hard wired to need.

At the same time we clocked the Channel mum trends report for 2020 that surveyed 2000 parents. A key trend was to set at least 10 minutes aside ‘to listen to our children and let them know their feelings are important and validated’.

Our solution

There are lots of fantastic free activity inspirations available across multiple mediums, but we wanted to do our bit to help busy parents who don’t have the time to keep searching for new ideas.

Take 10 Daily Journal

We have created a set of free downloadable journal pages to support grown ups in taking time each day to reflect on the ups and the downs, There are four versions to choose from with help from our buddies.

Simple and fun activities to bring families closer together. Designed to take 10 or 20 minutes.
